The molly is now being picked on quite a bit and it is having its tail fin nipped as it is not moving about as normal, I do not have a hospital tank at the moment so can not remove it. Any one got any ideas. Help needed please. Regards Elektron

yes the tail fins seem to be clamped up, and I added the 2 perl gouramis and a pleck last weekend, these fish have been very peaceful and not bothered any of the other fish. Many thanks Elektron

I have gone for the FLUVAL 4 PLUS, and just waiting for delivery of it, would it work if I just put the new filter in the tank alongside the old one but did not run it, so I would not have 2 filters pumping at the same time. Or would this not work? Cheers Elektron

Now the tank is stocked and fully running, will it be safe to put a new filter in there to replace the noisy one or is there some precedure i need to follow to ensure no harm comes to the water quality or fish. Regards Elektron

No I am quite sure it is from the filter, I had moved the wires and it makes no difference, its just the filter noise.
