actually i was talking about betta splendens, and they live way longer than 2 or 3 years , they are already 1 years at the least when sold , so by you info ppl would rarley have them more than 2 years , and most ppl say they noramlly keep them 3 years that already raises it to 4, and thats even...

yeah most of that does equal a happy betta, but some betta just dont have strong colors and greeting you just means they know you and they know you give food. but it sounds like you got a happy betta :D

could you be more specific on the tank like gallons, there are alot of 4 foot tanks ranging from 70 to 200 plus. just to check your not just planning this without looking at tanks, cause larger tanks are expencive, most running into the $1000 range for everything

what do you plan to do with all those oscars your going to need some pretty big tanks, a 55 is minium for just a single oscar and they are actually terrable tanks for them cause oscar get 12-14 inches and a 55 is only 12 inches wide, im sure you got plans for them im just curiuos what they are
