I also feed mine crushed flake but they will also have a go anyything else that goes their way. Congratulations on your new arrivals.

If your thinking about removing the internal filter go for the 2128 thermo. Im running a 2028 and a 2128 thermo model and cant recommend them enough. both are very quiet and keep my 90 Gallon Crystal clear.

Hi guys and gals. I was wondering if anyone on here has had any experiences with mail order fish suppliers? The reason I ask is that Im currently finding it very hard to get hold of enough Ps Salousi to fill my tank. Any advise would be gratefully received.

Around London where I live they are about the same price. £10.00 each or 3 for £25.00. I know its expensive but they are great fish and very healthy. i sure if you go into your LFS shop and say your after about 15 they should sort you out a very tidy discount for CASH :shifty:

I think that cost is a very important part of setting up an aquarium but if it means waiting another month to save up the money to buy the rocks that look good to you then maybe you should wait. Dont forget that its you that has to look at it everyday not your bank account.

Unforunatly I have the same problem but mine reads about 160ppm. I dont think nitrazorb or NitratEX will make much of a difference to mine but i should think it would almost eliminate yours. Let us know how you get on.

**************UPDATE************* Just check my tap water and that also reads 160 ppm? Dont know what to do! :shout: I have about 1-2" of crushed coral and it running on a Ehiem 2128 so its got plenty of filtration.

I have been doing 20% water changes weekly in my understocked 75 uk gallon tank which is without plants and checked my readings today to find. Ammonia 0 :good: Nitrite 0 :good: Nitrate 160ppm :( Somehow I managed to not check the NITRATE level for a few weeks as my kit ran out so was...

Saulosi all the way! I only have 2 males and 6 females (soon to be 4M and 12F) at the moment in a 75 uk gallon tank and there stunning to watch with no major aggression problems.

Well theres not really much more to say apart from the guys at MA in Morden are great, they stock both types of Saulosi and go out of there way to make sure that thier stock is of the very best quality. 10 out of 10.
