    Loach Going Crazy!

Its normally the guppys that eat the dead fish, as far as i can tell, they're all fine and not about to pop their clogs. The water is fine all levels normal. Was a bit bad about a month ago when we went on holiday and they suffered a bit of fin rot but all well on the mend now.

    Loach Going Crazy!

He's done nothing like that, in fact he normally only behaves like this when one of my other fish are ill or dying. They're all healthy though. He was orginally one of 2 but he refused to let the smaller one eat and in the end we had to take the little one out. Have you any ideas ideas why he's...

    Loach Going Crazy!

Yes that looks like him, the description sounds like him as well, he hides under a log for most of the time and is very timid. I've never had a problem with him going for my other fish though and yes i was told that he wouldn't grow too much bigger than his tiny size when i bought him.

    Loach Going Crazy!

He's just a sucking loach, nothing special, a silvery grey with a black stripe running across him. The tank is 24"x 15" x 14" hope this helps.

    Loach Going Crazy!

I've got 8 fish in my aquarium, 3 guppys, 4 tetras and a beast of a loach, he's about 10cm long and we've had for about 18 months, but over the last month or so his behaviour has become eratic, he digs in the gravel and jumps out of the water sometimes as well. I'm wondering if he's maybe...

    Lost Fish!

I wish i'd gone on one of these before i bought it! I got it as a present for my husband last year to replace our other tank. The fish seem happy in there though the guppy is quite active but i think is missing his pal. Will not put any more fish in tere then as don't want to upset the ones i...

    Lost Fish!

I see what you mean. Does that mean that my tank is crap? I've only got the now 1 guppy and 2 loaches, or whatever they are in it. What would be the best fish then? I think it might be a fake flying fox as there is a line along it but it isn't prominent like yours.

    Lost Fish!

Hi, They were supposed to be Khuli loaches. The shop told me that they wouldn't grow much bigger than they are now. On further inspection though i think one is a flying fox and the other something else. They also told me that my tank could take them. It wouldn't surprise me if they were wrong...

    Snails!

[font=Comic Sans Ms][size=4] Hi, I've got something called Snail Control by King British and it had no effect on my snails what so ever. We swipe our tank every morning to get rid of any snails that are on the surface and that appears to keep the problem more or less under control. Other...

    Lost Fish!

[font=Comic Sans Ms][size=4] Hi, I'm really bad at this, but hopefully with experience i'll get better. As i said above, i have lost a fish. It was there last night when i went to bed and this morning it has gone. It's a male, (or so i was told.) guppy that looked very pregnant. But looking...
