I'm about to go check up on him now... hopefully he's getting better. As far as I know, he has never been left in a tank with another betta.

the owners sister made a 1 gallon mixture of the aquarium salt and melafix with the recommended dosages and i just used that along with some conditioned water so it should be fine. thanks
