    29g Saltwater Nano Tank

hi it's not red algae, its cynobacteria you need to have balance in the tank to rid this. you need to be showing some po4 and nirates. you also need more water movement. the goby is a lovely fish, but it gets most of its food from sifting through the sand and getting small critters from in...

https://www.theaquariumsolution.com/content/david-saxbys-aquarium-18 He is MD of a major marine aquarium company(s) so he has probably developed some of the items and got them at cost(free) his tank is also a bit of a test bed. I would have a big tank and fish room, somebody would run it with my...

    Little Slice of Ocean

The old way scraping a tank was to have a wall of rock, food, dead or dieing fish can get trapped around the back of it. If a fish vanishes it usually ends up around the wall. I would have a spike shape (v) of rock coming from the filter end, you can still have hidey holes for fish in there. It...

    29g Saltwater Nano Tank

Tank looks good but sorry to say it will back and normally very quickly. The tank is out of balance, you need a decent test kit rather than the API one. They are know to give false results. Get the po4 test ASAP. You need a balance between the po4 and no3. As it is a bacteria rather than an...

Stocking for a 13.5 Gallon Fluval Sea Evo Tank.

Used to have yellow gobies, they just hung around on top of the rocks watching me. So I wouldn't class them as bottom dwelling. Clowns tend to be OK with other fish until they start to breed, then the will defend their patch and the eggs

    Removing an internal filter.

Used a Stanley knife blade, put some of the old filter media in the new filter. Didn't start to run the external till I'd removed the internal.

    Bobbitt worm

Bobbit can grown upto 3m,in the tank they normally live in the rock and the only signs they are there, are fish or clean up crew go missing. They anchor their tail inside the rock and wil retreat at lightning speed. You can sometimes see a round hole in the rock. They tend to be nocturnal so...
