What did your pictus look like when you said it skin looked like it was burned? I have one now that i noticed had a yellowish tiny spots on its head but almost looks like a yellow rash. I know its not ich. I was just wondering what yours looked like.

Thanks Platypus! i think the disease might be Velvet. I inspected the pictus closer and noticed the discoloration was a yellowish rash almost on his skin. He also has a pronounced white line running down both sides of his body. Has anyone dealt with this before?

i also just noticed that my silver tipped is swimming eradictly *sp* and has a slight discoloration of brown on the top of his head.
