As of yesterday before I did a 50% water change. Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, couldn't find my Nitrate kit, and my PH was off the scale high (probably 7.8-8.0 ish chart stopped at 7.6) Water was unheated, around 82 degrees. I'm in the U.S., San Diego to be specific. The concensus on the goldfish...

Thanks for the help. I had pretty much come to the conclusion that it was Ich. I found little white spots on his tail that look like the classic Ich pictures. I'd say the white spot is cottoney, I also think a new patch is developing over his gill that wasn't there last night. Thoughts...

My girls spine was fine when I got her. I thought the weight loss was from not eating, there were a few days there where she was definitely not interested in food at all. She really seems to be getting better every day, although her spine is still a little hunched. I'll try and get a picture...

Yeah, I've got the liquid test kits from aquatic pharmaceuticals. Has a shifting color scale from yellow (0.0) to dark green at 8.0. The latest test appears the most yellow of all, but I'd still call it a .25 reading. Will keep doing water changes and see if I can get this puppy to be yellow...

Well, I tested the water this morning before doing another water change. Only tested the ammonia as the Nitrite's and Nitrate's appeared to be holding solid. I only have one of those color tests, but it still looks to be about .25. I don't know how people get specific readings on this board...

One of my Platy's is the same way. Barely eating, Clamped fins, the rest of my fish seem ok. I thought she was getting ready to give birth because the white thing is sticking out behind her but she's not very fat and she's been like this a few days now. I'm worried about my little orange girl.
