Dont quote me on this ok?
Moving a few ornaments around can be good and bad in a few ways...
Good way
They re-establish their own territory and make their own space they feel comfy in
Bad way
This can also cause stress and a clown loach with stress means none other than Mr Whitespot...
i think someone did mention it takes years and years and years for clown loaches to grow "to big for your tank" unless u got them in a matchbox sized tank.
Large clown loaches are not common as much as it used to for a few reasons really.
Clown loaches only get imported as one to two inches...
its unusual for a clown loach to be aggresive. It is possible that he is stressed at moment.
Hav eu tried keeping the lights off for a few days to keep him and others calm. Im sorry ive kept clowns for the last 7 years and have never came accross an agressive clown loach.
i know they can go...
I have a 180 bow in lounge and over the weekend i set a 240 up in the hallway. My silver dollars and a few other have been moved to the hallway and are not all in the same tank.
ive got an juwel bo front 180. everyone in my tank gets along great. the only action is the silver dollars trying to spawn.
in my tank the skunks arent a problem but in my mates tank one skunk keeps eating the other fish's fins.
yes ive got 16 clown loaches, 6 yo yo loahces, 11 skunk botia, 1 large orange finned loach, five sebra loahces and this combination is bonkers! up and down my tank all the time!!!
Hi im clownloachlady! I think the name says it all hehe, im in devon where i have a 180 with tropicals and 16 of those fish are clown loaches...
Hope to chat soon... Still trying to get used to this layout, bit different from other sites...
clownloach's live up to 50 years and they grow very slowly...
they are also very very friendly playfull fish who gets along with most other fish... i had oscars and clarius's with my 15 loaches and not once was an argument...
my advice... go ahead start off with two and see how it goes. clown...
