sorry i did miss jayjay off, but maximus helped to prove it worked in a small amount of time, and yes i did update this morning i blackbinbaged my tank and crossed my fingers :hyper: if you try this method i hope it works for you

:unsure: there are lots of these i know, but i have no idea. I have a 40"L x 18"H x 12"W (144L/approx. 38G) tank that currently contains 1x bolivian rams 6x neon tetra 1x tiger plec 1x bn plec 5x pepperd corydoras 2x white cloud mountain minnows is there any bigger fish i could get in...

just so happens i can, i have been having this problem with my shell dweller tank, and maxiums has helped me out a lot :hyper: check out page 7 on the post and see how he did it. Failing this look at the planted section Edit:JayJay suggested the idea, appologies for missing you off jayjay...

I just took the lid of mine and had a quick look, my shellies didnt like it to much because they thought they were getting fed, ahwell. Are you using the pump that was supplied with the tank? And does ur tube sit right at the front of the filter box?

no i have a juwel 60, is it the right angle pipe thing that comes up from the bottom? and if so try poiting it towards you abit more, right at the edge of the grill so if it does splash up it doesn't go down the back, its all i can think of with my tired mind :( i have never had that problem...

I was just wondering, what is the biggest fish i could comfortably fit in a tank 40"L x 18"H x 12"W (144L/38G). Not expecting anything that big i was just wondering as its the biggest size tank i can get at the moment :( so would need to be able to house the fish for life. Not interested in...

this is what i use http://www.frenchgourmetstore.com/escargots/20004.htm they take about 2 days to get there, and are large shells, but light enought for any fish to move them around and bury them :) they work just fine and the fish seem to like them, and no worries about them getting stucky...

just the standard juwel lighting it came with, and its on from 8-10 am and then 4-10 pm and its kinda in sunlight but not fully exposed and no plants, i was thinking of getting some but im not sure if they would dig them up.

Thanks Jay, the babies range from about 1/4" - 1/2" now i no mine isnt algea its a growth, like i said i can peel it off its so thick lol

thanks guys. Yeh still no sign of anyone today lol, the shells have moved around a lot thou and the couple of boodworm i put in yesterday has all gone. The temp has been fluctuating abit thanks to the Juwel heater crapness, but i hope i have fixed the problem!

Im getting a bit worried about one of the females, i have seen both the males and one of the females, out and about but the second female is no where to be seen :crazy: , i dont know i will tomorrow she mite still be feeling abit stressed
