Hey, and I think I may have ID'd the other skinny fish for you. Is it possibly a Whiptail Catfish (Farlowella acus)? Here's a pic of one:

All of those sharks are territorial (the flying fox is a shark, too!), but can work if your tank is big enough with enough hidey spots. Each shark will need his own territory to be happy.

The ph will be fine for the corys. They can survive in a ph betwixt 5.8 and 7.0. You should bring the temperature down to at least 79f, but would be better at 75f-77f. Cheers!

As a newbie, I have found my Endlers to be very easy to keep and really cool to have swimming around in my tank. They also seem to get along great with every other fish I have. I'd say go for it. Just try to not breed the Endlers with other livebearers so as to keep the strains pure.

Mine seems quite happy with my mix (see sig!) I do make sure to regularly watch and make sure he (and my shark) don't suddenly turn on their mates, which I have been told can happen at any time. So far, my Betta only seems to have issues with his own reflection on the side of the tank!

It should be fine as long as you stick to a smaller Gourami and Cory's like Pandas or even better, Pygmy's which only grow to about 1". Just keep in mind the eventual size of the fish!

I, also as a beginner, have found my Yoyo Loach and Amano shrimp to be quite effective at munching algae. Plus, they are also very easy to keep and a lot of fun to watch!
