Hi I just added a sump to my lido tank with miracal mud cheato phos remover and some calcium and its working already plus it only cost about £10 to build with stuff from b&q

Green emerald crabs are best, a sea hare will clear the tank of algea but you will have to pass it on once its done because it will starve once its done. I have one at the moment as I'm getting a lot of algea latly hope this helps.

Hi I am thinking about putting a sump under my juwel lido 120. I have had sumps on my other tanks but they have been much bigger, is it still worth it even if its quite small, I was even thinking of using a 25 l old salt tub for now.

Hi its def worth doing it yourself you will save in the long run. Its easy to do and not smelly at all.

Joes juice worked for me to. Shrimps didn't touch them at all

Its a juwel, can't add pics at the moment as the laptop is broke and I'm only using an epad. The cabinet is very narrow

What tank do you have? Sumps are a lot better and make things a lot easier. Don't know where I'm going to get a tank to fit in a lido cabinet

There was a hang on nano skimmer from aquadabera but I think I am going to try and add a sump now instead of a filter so im going to do that first just need to find a small tank that will fit in the cabinet

Tried the skimmer today, far to noisy but did pull a lot of crap out though, might try and get a less noisy skimmer so I can hear the tv lol
