Feeding them Tetra baby food of some kind - is very fine so easy for the fry to eat... About 3 times a day!?! What else should I feed the fry to help it's growth? I am going out tomorrow for some things for the tank could get it then.

Here is a pic of the biggest Gourami we have.... There both girls. Guessing a few months would be about right. We have had the Gourami for about 4 months now, the one in the pic has growm considerably since we first got her!!

Quick quessie... How long 'roughly' does it take a mollie fry to get to a decent size so it can b removed from the floating hatchey and put in the tank with all the other fish?

Thanx I am not to clever with galons - is 180 litres ok for what we already have? ... will be moving the fish 2 that size tank shortly. She doesnt seem as bad as she was b4 with the other opaline and they take no notice what so ever of the mollies... So should be even better once we do the move.

Far from a baby "she" is quite big! Think this means I have 2 female gourami's... With the one in the picture being more agressive than the other. R two female Gourami's ok 2gether? Did have 3 but one passed away :( guessing they were all females.

Yeah I love them! Have grown quite a bit since we bought them 2! Lovely ickle fish. Just so far Pets@Home haven't been all that clever, just wanted 2 make sure we got what we thought we did :)

Hope u get the Gouramis u r looking 4 :) Had a problem 2 with having both males, but bought a 3-spot Gourami which made all ok until last wk, he passed away!!! Was very weird showed no signs of being ill, levels where ok - but a betta had been in the tank 4 2 days on his way out - wasn't pets...

Wanted 2 show fellow gourami lovers my lovely Opaline Gourami "Bully" ... That's all really! :lol:

EDIT- Yup, Wilkinsons is your best friend. Depending on what your after, you can get 3g tanks for £5, or see through plastic containers for less, I'm currently testing them for safety (although there should be no probs, they're foodsafe). Can you buy online?

Hmmmm Well, firstly it was getting fish to keep the other half happy! But now we have them I have b'come addicted - can't stop watching them and trying 2 learn more! I deffo care, I think fish r lovely - far more than decoration 2 the home. :D

Don't know the in's and out's but I just got a Juwel Vision 180 and opted for NO under gravel filter - have heard there not 2 clever! ...from fellow fish keepers and the lfs. No biggie if u don't have one.

I know you can deffo have the mollies I have a ZD >>> getting more, the others passed away :( But have 3 female mollies with both the Danio, gouramis and tetras. Not sure about the convicts or guppies tho... Had a male betta in our tank and the mollies kept going 4 him, the bright colours...

We are planning on getting more zebra danio's, we did originally have more but they passed away :( We only have the one baby so far...think the others must of been eaten, possibly more in 4-6 weeks.. Deffo planning on keeping this baby, not sure should there be LOADS more. C we only have...

Thanks, I'll check that out. I won't be adding them for a while just want to get some idea on a particular fish in mind so I can do research on them before hand etc.... Really do like the look of the Cory's! In fact the look gr8, think it will be one of those. All tho very keen on the zebra...

Is it possible to have either small plecs or some corys in with the fish I currently have (See sig) soon to be updating to 180 litre tank... If so, what's the best type!?!

I have 3 mollies aswell... All girls and have noticed that one of the females (orange dalmation) chases the small black molly from time to time. Likely hood is that you have 2 males and a female and the male is competitng with the other.

Lol. Dilemma "feed urself or the fish" .... That or u could take up some yummy frozen foods! :S I say when u get older keeping 2 many fishes/2 many tanks would b 2 much hard work... But for now we r all set on keeping up the gd work :D

Quite the opposite I believe. Think of how much time you will have when you are retired. Maybe the time, but not so much the patience or arm strength!!!
