I’m having success with dwarf gourami and a lot of tetras. The only tension in the tank is the single angle and 2 dwarf gourami drifting into each others zones. Nothing heavy though . My pleco appears out of nowhere and muscles his way through the planted substrate.
I’ve had a great experience with the Fluval 307. Great adjustable flow. Joyous hose connect. Easy of cleaning. Good looking unit. Quiet as a mouse and powerful if you need it.
Hey your water is your water. fish will live in it as long as things are in balance. We can over do things sometimes. Choose the fish ball park and let it happen. Marc
Ah fish shed Nirvana. I could possibly ask one of my late teens sons to move. Racks n power. Lighting n filtration. Oh the cord management!!! Sounds so good
It makes you realise how good you’ve got it when everyone is doing their own thing without the violence. It’s understandable when your charge is in a box. Balance is awesome when achieved and can be a thing to keep you up and night when it goes sour.
Yes they have their own homes and territories. A little jousting for time to time Heavy planted and dither fish keep everyone busy. It’s a 3 pair fun fest
I think I’ll go for a Fluval 3 Bluetooth for my next upgrade. I’d like to able to tune a mello night vibe into turn off. Get some nice natural thing going
Hi I’m Marc Newport NSW, in and out of the hobby most of my life. One only 4ft tank, Fluval 307, co2 injection, bio layered substrate, planted, liquid fertilisers, community stocked. Water chemistry and balance across it all is the goal.
