    Cherry shrimp dying

Is it normal for them to just jump up and lay on their backs? When this happened, they were still alive and died after about 20 minutes.

    Cherry shrimp dying

My nano tank is in a crisis. The cherry shrimp are dropping like flies, but now I'm not even sure if they're dead. The jump and land on their backs, making them appear dead. There are 20ppm nitrates to feed to plants, 0 nitrites and 0 ammonia. Could it be the tannins in the water because the...

    Wart on Dwarf Gourami

I do a weekly water change, about 40%. Do you think buying more plants would also help? P.S, is the high nitrate level what caused the wart/blister on the gourami?

    Wart on Dwarf Gourami

Do you suggest stop feeding them for a period of time and do a large water change?

    Wart on Dwarf Gourami

    1. I’m not sure of the gender because I had a female in there before but they didn’t breed and at the same time it has a pointy fin and more streamlined belly so I assume that’s just how it looks. 2. Here’s the pH, total hardness and carbonate levels: pH-7.0, total hardness-100ppm...

    Wart on Dwarf Gourami

There is a small pink wart on the body of my dwarf gourami. I did a little research on it but I don’t think it’s lymphocystis because the wart isn’t on the fin and isn’t white either. Should I do something about it? Here is a photo of my gourami.

    pH after Water changes

If I'm leaving the water for a day or two, should I use a heater to heat the water again before putting it in my tank?

    pH after Water changes

I have mollies and I read that they like their water pH level at about 7.5. I'm using crushed coral and it seems to be working but every time I do a water change I use tap water, which is about 6.5. This means that my pH goes down to about 6.8 every time I do a water change. Is there a way I...

White patch on male Dalmatian molly's head.

And my other male yellow molly has a pink patch that wasn’t there before. (Molly fish in the middle). He also likes to hang out near the heater so is it a burn?

It’s not exactly white anymore. But it wasn’t like this before. The patch was lighter this morning.

White patch on male Dalmatian molly's head.

My molly has a white patch on his head. It was black before but after this morning I found him stuck behind the filter. He currently has swim bladder disease so I figured that's why he got stuck. He got stuck between the filter and heater so I don't know if it's a burn or a disease. I don't...

    Hi! I'm a new member!

I started to keep fish in September 2023 and I have 2 dwarf gouramis, 4 mollies, 24 molly fry, 10 corydora catfish and 8 neon tetras. I started with a 40l tank and then upgraded to a 90l tank. So far, 1 dwarf gourami, 4 neon tetras and 2 corydoras have died from swim bladder disease, pop-eye...
