Pandas. Not planning at this point until the other issue is straightened out for sure. They look infertile, but waiting to be sure. BTW, no dead fish. If this continues, the thread can be put to rest. I don't know how to end the thread though. Thanks for asking about the corys😃

I believe I may have the answer, I hope. No deaths with rams removed. I found eggs this morning I did not see before. I want to say they were breeding, which would lead to more aggressive behavior. Had not set up for breeding but attaching pics

With the rams moved it should be apparent in a day or 2 if it is disease

Update. After repeated checks today, 4 more found after an hours absence 3 I know for a fact were fine the previous hour. Rams are removed into another tank. Now let's see what happens.

Water source us not soft per se, but fish are sourced nearby and water conditions they are raised in are compatible to mine.

So I may have answer. The big ram hides inside a large hollow tree in the tank. I found the smaller fish chasing each other thru various openings in the tree agitating him. I think he has been defending his home, and then the others are scavenging the injured/ dying ones. Best observed...

The pleco is a rubberlip. Good idea on camera, as it does seem to happen at night more often than not.

No one seems sick, and none are currently over 8 months old. No signs of stress. It's different fish as well. 1 cory, 2 neon, 2 guppy, 1 zebra ( they are oldest) have been found over about a week, mostly just the head left.
