Fish wise got rummy nose tetra, cardinal tetras and red phantom tetras with kuhilo loaches. I’m going to go with large shoal 30+ of small...

    Kribensis Fry future care

Kribs fry are about 6 weeks old now been doing a lot of research but found a lot of conflicting info. Some says she protects the fry from the male others they share responsibility. Some say you need to remove them as he will start attacking her to get her to breed again some not. My experience...

    Aiptasia - salinity reduction

Ye you shouldn’t really be killing bristleworms as they are cleaning up the food not being eaten. Reducing amount of waste food laying around will reduce them. aiptasia X is a good product used it for years get it in their mouths and they are done. Dealing with aiptasia should just be seen as...

    Barb tank?

No idea why then? The 6 barbs did follow the rummynoses but over past 2 weeks of settling they do more of their own thing I also like how they keep the Kirbs busy
  26. G

    Barb tank?

Ye loved mine, one would leave cover and the other 2 would shortly follow. One lasted around 8 years so suppose its like all things before the internet kicked off. Books seem to downplay size of tank and numbers
  27. G

    Barb tank?

Ye I’m happy with 1 type I’ll look at getting more checkers barbs. Ye although tank is a 60g it’s only 90 not 120 as it’s deeper (better for marine) so in hindsight I’d of left out the rummynose as i can see how much they like to swim up and down but not around the tank they seem to swim...
