Day 25 Update The Peacock Gudgeons arrived today. 3 males and 5 females. They are currently settling in to the quarantine tank. What sort of signs should I be looking out for while they’re quarantining? They all look well to untrained eye, but I haven’t and won’t feed them until tomorrow.

The lights are now off. The tank is in my office, so they are unfortunately stuck with me for now. Hopefully they’ll get used to the frightening sight of me.

Day 24 Update The Emerald Dwarf Rasboras are now in the tank. They are very skittish. If I walk past the tank, they all dart to the back of the tank. The plan is still to add another 10. I hope larger numbers of the fish will help the fish feel less skittish. I have ordered 8 Peacock Gudeons...

Day 22 Update The tank is coming along really nicely and has now finished its silent cycle (tested using liquid ammonia). I am collecting 14 Emerald Dwarf Rasboras tomorrow, can’t wait!! I want to add another 10 after a couple of weeks.
