Are you near any flea markets? They usually have some sturdy tables for cheap.

I like the black platy but I also like the neon colored ones. I will have to buy them on-line. The only ones available locally are the orange colored platy.

I read that there is a population of wild guppies established in the San Antonio river. That's about 6 hours from here. I'm going to try to go this summer and catch a few but I have to make sure that there's no permit required. Since they are a non-native fish, I doubt that there is.

I've never seen them in our LFS around here but maybe in a larger city?

Why do you feel the need to kill your chickens? That's the same reason that I hunt.

I added salt and used Lifeguard by Tetra. It was all that was available in the local Walmart. Between the two, it wiped it out and I didn't lose any fish.

My wife will swear that I wrote this!
