Oh yeah. The dropped female's fine. The fry looks better- swims around. But its movements are rather erratic (sp?) They appear to be eating. Can't be sure though. I never actually see them consume any food.

My betta was kinda old. And my guppies were crazy. So they beat the crap out of him.

I had three girls in my ten gallon. One was large, the other average, and the third somewhat small. The largest one picked on the smallest one and the middle one tollerated the smaller one, but would flare at her occasionally. Eventually I decided the smallest one was getting picked on too much...

I feed mine 3-5 pellets once a day... Sometimes a flake or two or a bit of brine shrimp flakes as a snack.

Psh. What a moronic, attention-deprived hypocrite... And yes, I do cry when my fish die. Because if they're sick, I put a lot of time into trying to make them better. Unless you're a completely insensitive person that doesnt pay the slightest amount of attention to your fish, which relies...

Mine all have grotto thingies with many hidey holes that I buy from my LFS. I also give them plenty of plants... they really like it when you take plastic plants and take them apart so they float on the top of the water.

Uhm.. yeah you could try making them. I think if you want to make about 3 it's cheaper than buying them. But if you want to divide up a ten gallon, you can get some dividers at petsmart for around 5 or 6 dollars each.
