yeah i know i need a background...and i did hear that before about bala sharks. The only issue i guess is needing a bigger tank. Although he has been alive for quite some time. I got him when he was very very small and he still is small (but has grown obviously). I plan on getting a bigger tank...

they say 8 inches in wild and 4 to 5 inches in a aquarium, which he is about 5 i believe maybe a little more! but yeah hes a king of the bottom feeders!

ok i got them to work yesterday after some time, i had to do another detailed cleaning on two of them, the third one eventually started. maybe propellers in motor were acting funny iono. thanks everyone

hey i had a power outage for like 45 minutes earlier today.... once power came back on everything worked except the filters wouldn't start... i tried different plugss different outlets empying the filter and filling them. i have 3 different tanks and 3 different filters obviously for those tanks...

i have a male and female tank so those were pictures form the two different tanks :) that way no inbreeding occurs :) ans thanks for all the compliments everyone! :)

there are 8 fry total (mixed male/female) that came form one that is alive still.... but th eone female that mothered most of them died about 2 months ago about 2-3 weeks after birth :( i will get a picture of my females on this forum soon :) thanks for the compliments guys and girls

since u have only had them for two weeks.... it could be another month before any fry come...and having nature take its course it probably a good one considering 5 females... also the longer they are pregnant means more fry.... so keep that in mind as well... :)

well if they are not gay...considering there are 5 females knocked up.... then maybe they are " bi "!!!!!!!!! hehehe jk, prolly fighting/playing my males do it all the time... (not kissing though)...you got the footballteam of guppies always playing grab ass with one another and pancing one...

what i meant by it has been through some upgrades is this.... it started out a fair fish one u win at the fair in those tiny bowls.... then put in a bigger bowl and bigger and so on... I have to visit my sister's house to get a better look but i have told her to upgrade big big as in...

the one fish started out from a fair in a very samll bowl originally... 4 years she has had it and no problems she has upgraded many tank sizes to accomodate for it but he is very large now like 4-5 inches im guessing and very thick build.... she changes water but like once a month and nothing...

the goldfish is my sisters and it has red spots on the dorsal fins looks like blood... and also near the gills below it has a very dark red line about "===" thick and that length any one have an idea whats going on with this goldfish? It is in a 2.5 gallon tank with one other goldfish....

my seprae tetra seem to be actually very calm, but they can be some what agressive when it comes to feeding, but i never see them fighting with one another, they seem to be very peaceful. :cool: i love them i think you should get some!!! only time they will get agressive is over food, which is...

my pictus is already like 5-6 inches long.... my seprae tetras are 2 inches long and dont even hang out near the catfish... my pictus just chills in the same corner all day then at night patrols, but i dont see any battle wounds on any of them so no need to worry.

i am not to sure what type he is... umm let me describe him. black/brown with orange spots.... umm not sure what type that falls into! but he puts that pictus catfish and gourami back in place!!! :) anyone have index of pleco/pics so i can compare? :)

well...i put my Pleco (Ceasar) from 10g to a 29 gallon.... he is a decent size now and it is amazing to just watch him do this "dance" to protect his food (algae waffers) or the zucchini i have in a vegie clip. The other fish try to get a peice and he does this "dance" around it to get them to...

i have had these two gouramis for at most 6 months now... i originallygot the gold one first at a larger size to begin with...compared to the blue so im guessing age might be a big factor. I checked that sight mine are fairly skinny.. so im thinking male... also dorsal fin appears to be fairly...

i have a blue and gold gourami... the gold one is bigger then the blue one... and they have been in same 29 gallon tank for some time now... but the blue one doesnt seem to be catching up in size at all compared to the gold one... they both seem at stable size? do the blue ones stay smaller in...

should of read your signature... 15 gallons is plently big... although i prefer biowheel filer or standard compared too sponge... that is heated right? ^ ^

what size tank are these fry being kept in?... also...adding different foods to diet may help check out hikari products or live bine shrimp (spelling correct?) anywayz... also the reason a molly has so many fry is due to the fact that not all will survive... :-\ but yeah how big or a tank are...
