Yeah shes great with the kids . We'll shes house trained from she was a tiny pup .shes great that way .the only thing is a bit of a chewing problem. She has left her mark on almost everything out In our back yard ,and my grass is all yellow patches . That's all .... she has big paws like a lion...

When I bought my first aquarium in my lfs , he told me to just fill it up and let it run for about 2 days then it's ready for fish. I'm still not sure if he doesn't know anything about cycling the tank or if he does know ,but he just allows you to go on the journey and learn for yourself and...

If you have regular power outages for up to weeks long as you said ,I would be thinking about a small diesel/petrol generator that you can get an electrician to put a connection point on to your house that will run all the sockets...

You'll get there .I'm just about 1 and a half years at it now . Learned so much from these guys and still learning. But I have my tank in fairly good shape at the minute. Very little maintenance now ,about 1 hour a week . So dont be put off by all the work now,that wont be forever . 😁

Lovely tank you've got there .yes you'll definitely have a severe algae problem with your light on for 12 hours and not enough live plants . You could only get away with having the light on for 3 or 4 hours with that setup . I would get rid of all fake plants . Keep the nice castles and clean...

Yes , definitely male as far as I know. Are you looking to breed them ? I let mine breed for a short while ,it was good fun an interesting. But it can soon get out of control and your tank will get overstocked. I only have males now . They have no ladies to fight over so there all peaceful..😁

Not sure ,but I had an endlers that constantly chased a female guppy .even more when she started dropping fry . Are you sure it's a male ?

Your maternity ward is going to be over run soon ... endlers will probably breed with the guppies aswell...Any females pregnant yet ?

Hi all. I have my mind set on adding a Bolivian ram to my 29 gallon community tank . I have peppered cories, neon tetras and guppies . Google says the Bolivian rams are peaceful fish . Is this right ?and is one ok , as my stock is close to full I think ?

I think the light was definitely a factor ,plus the position of it directly over the floating plants . It's more to the front now and shining top and bottom of the tank . I'd never remove my floating plants . The fish love them and before I had them I couldn't control algae . In this picture it...

Yes it says on the packet ,only released on demand and not into the water column. I was looking up the flourish tabs . I think I'll order a packet of them . Hopefully with the light and all I'll soon see some growth .😊

I used the tnc plugs the last time ,2 months ago . Its says on the packet they last up to 6 months. Is that right ?and can you overdo it on root tabs ?

Thanks . Yes I'm going to leave it for a few weeks now to see how they do . Possible add java fern and remove the ones with algae then . I like the idea of feeding from the water column instead of adding to many root tabs .My floating plants have always thrived with the seachem flourish

Ok ,so I have put the my sunny bulb in .still a bit confused as to why the plant bulb isn't suitable for growing plants on it's own. Also moved it into the front section of the lid which is allowing alot more light down past my floating plants . It's a lot brighter now . Also reduced my timer...
