My melon barbs have been chasing my corys around and I'm worried the little guys are going to get stressed out. The tank has been happy for about 2 weeks and this just started today. Any help is appreciated

Just regular play sand from home depot that I rinsed a lot. The corys seem to love it!

They seem to like to be able to kind of play through the "forest" as well. I'm hoping as the barbs settle in though they will move up a bit in the tank, right now they are sitting on the bottom with the corys.

It now has 5 panda barbs and 7 corys. So far everyone is getting along well.

Have you tried Bridges? I have also heard good things about Dennys which I believe is in Kirkland maybe.

This is my first time having a community tank and I realize it should probably have a bubbler of some kind but wasn't sure how big of one or anything. It's a 29g planted tank that currently has 4 bronze corys, will eventually have danios and maybe rasboras.

They are so fun to watch and it's only day one. Can't wait until the rest of the tank is stocked

I have read about the clove euthanasia method but have not seen anywhere if there is a specific kind of clove oil that is best to use. I think it’s getting close to time with my dad fish

We have well water that sits about 17ppm, ph in my 10g is 7.6, and water stays around 78. will test everything in the 29g tomorrow.

Honestly haven't checked them yet, only added water two days ago and plants today. Ran the filter on my current cycled 10g for a couple of days first and added water from that tank as well. No fish are being added just yet

This is the tank I found on the side of the road. Going to put 2 pearl gouramis, a male gourami, a group of corys, and then thinking a school of something small that will get along with the gouramis. I’m open to ideas and suggestions.

So he hangs out above this leaf and today these white poops?? Were on the leaf.

I’ve been doing 50% water changes 2x a week including the gravel.

Hopefully going to attempt to redo the seams this weekend my question is about the frame, does anyone think it needs replacing. The one crack is the only one.

No he has not been medicated lately, I have a couple of plants in there but I honestly don't know what they are.

I know that the bloodworms are a treat, I tried giving them to him to see if he will eat. There are live plants and added moss balls last week.

Top fin tropical fish crumbles and dried bloodworms. His water is pretty quiet and all of that has been the same for the last year.

Has been set up for about a year now, only the one pearl because I rescued him from my sisters guppy tank. He killed his mate and was killing the guppies. Nitrate about 10ppm, nitrite 0, ammonia about .25ppm.

My gourami has not really eaten in a couple of weeks, yesterday and today he seems interested in food again but will not actually come up and eat. Now today he has been hiding under the filter. Have been doing every other day water changes.

Well I have gotten the first round of cleaning done on it and so far all the seals look pretty good but the rim on the tank is cracked, think it is okay to leave on still? It is a 29 gallon tank
