So the current pump/filter(all in one) has a Qmax of 320 l per hour. We need a pump/filter with a lower L/h.

Sorry I thought my previous picture of the pump label would be what you needed. Here is another picture, but this time of the whole pump. Another (smaller) fish is now loosing weight, and sinking down to the bottom frequently and hiding in the gravel. The salt is on its way to us.

Thank you Colin I really appreciate the help. Is the salt safe to use with the King British Disease Clear that is already in the tank please? It says not to use with any other medicines. We have only the 5 platys and no live plants.

Hi Colin 1 platy skinny, sitting on bottom a lot, sometimes curling and twitching. 5 months old, female, not pregnant. 4 tank mates ok, all platys similar age.

Ours is like this but it doesn't have the wider part at the bottom, I wonder if thats the problem.

That method will suck up our gravel which then gets stuck and blocks the pipe. We have quite large white gravel like this. Could i be using the wrong type of pipe?

The spot got very slightly larger and I think another smaller one was forming above. She had her fry and sadly died a couple of days later. :(
