Its actually a freshwater fish. B) And I got it off of a friend of mine who grew it up for about 18 months for it to reach that size.

Yep a big storage box lined with garbage bags.

Update as of yesterday... 4 more datnoids in a month or so :rofl:

I wouldnt worry about it too much. You are doing the right thing about feeding it a lot. These guys have growth spurts. I didnt have a 1 inch per month growth rate. Mine grew from 1 inch to 3 inches in the first 2 months then stopped growing for a while. Then suddenly in one month they packed on...

When I get home from school ill put up some general info.

Well the tanks are only about 2 months old. So its still in the early stages. The Leichardti wont tolerate anything so he is on his own. I want the bottom tank just for datnoids. I am getting 4 more sometime soon. And the fact that I live in Australia. We cant get any of the awesome catfish...

The main reason why I dont have much decoration is because they simply dont want it. The leichardti will smash every bit of wood I put in his tank except the one you see in there now. I am gradually enhancing the look of the datnoid tank. I hope to get some more plants in there and a group of 3...

LOL you would be suprised! My arowana wont touch ANY feeder fish. :lol: I have no idea why :unsure: But as soon as you put a datnoid or anything else in there, its a goner.... :byebye: Thanks Paul :)
