    Clown Loaches Disease? Help!

Hi all, I'm in need of some help, I had 8 clown Loaches in my 75 gallon tank. (It's a grow out tank don't worry I have an 8 foot now) There is now one. The largest one. A couple of weeks ago I noticed one of the clowns had ich and so I got what I've used in the past for ich which is the API...

    Could this stocking idea work?

How do weather/dojo Loaches not work? They get along with my fish currently. I have a four footer, can they go in there for a few months until I can get a larger tank in Jan/Feb?

    Could this stocking idea work?

My local Petco actually gets butterfly and rope fish every few weeks and they sell pretty quickly.

    Could this stocking idea work?

Okay the Loaches are no issue, but 6 butterfly fish wouldn't that cause a lot of aggression? We're thinking of the same fish right? They sit at the surface and eat crickets and things. I'm by no means an expert or even decent at half this stuff I'm just confused because I thought butterfly fish...

    Could this stocking idea work?

Okay, I have weather Loaches, are those okay? By Butterfly Fish I meant African Butterfly Fish (the ones in the same family as arowana (the boneytongue family)).

    Could this stocking idea work?

By By hillistream loach do you mean weather Loaches? I've only heard them called weather Loaches. Could I get a breeding partner for the Pearl and blue Gourami and would that make it better for them?

    Could this stocking idea work?

Would it work to get 4-5 more Loaches and when they start to outgrow then re-home them? I don't particularly want to get rid of my Loaches but if it's best for them I will.

    Could this stocking idea work?

Also, my main fish I wanted was the butterfly fish. Is there anyway this could work with the fish I have? If not, why? (Sorry if not understanding and stuff) Thank you!

    Could this stocking idea work?

Okay, thank you for the advice, should I wait to get more Loaches/Danios until I have the larger tank ready (3-4 weeks)? Or should I just get them now to decrease stress even though it's only a 20 gallon (I'll do much more water changes and everything until the tank is ready).

    Could this stocking idea work?

Okay sounds like a good idea! Any idea on any of the other species of fish? Or any cool recommendations on fish? Thanks!

    Could this stocking idea work?

I don't know if it's going to be heavily planted or not. Once I decide what fish are going to be in there I will decide what plants to get/not get and add fish after. With the Gouramis, I wasn't told they could get aggressive until after I had them both. I watched then closely for about a week...

    Could this stocking idea work?

Okay, I see, cool video also! I'll check out your channel. Do you know if any of the other wanted fish work? I've heard good things about Rope Fish, should be kept in 2s or 3s, they aren't generally agressively but may still eat small fish, and I think they're really cool. I really like...

    Could this stocking idea work?

So would you recommend getting 4-8 more and if they begin to out grow the tank move them to a larger tank/give them to someone who can tank care of them better? I have people who would take large clown loaches without an issue so if that's the best bet I can do that. Any ideas on whether the...

    Could this stocking idea work?

I was more so asking if the fish I listed as wanting would work with each other and the fish I had. I could always get more Loaches and when the time comes sell or donate them if they get to large, I just don't like to give away fish haha. Plus, every clown loachs I've ever introduced has an an...

    Could this stocking idea work?

Yes, which is why I would leave the pair. They do fine on their own in my tank. Also, it'll be 6+ years before the clown loaches even reach 6 inches and it'd be a max 3 years before I got a larger tank.

I know the groupings should be more, my water parameters are all good, and it's the slightest bit hard. pH is about 7.5. That's for my existing 20 that has the community, my 75 is still cycling.

    Could this stocking idea work?

Hi all, I'm not entirely sure if those goes here but I have a couple questions regarding whether this stocking would work and what could be done to change it so it would mostly work (i.e. removing one species so all the other species can live together). I have a 75 gallon tank (it's 4ft long by...

    Blue Crayfish Parasite?

Thank you! I've seen some people boil the vegetables before feeding to the fish. Should I do that or is okay just to put them straight from the store to the tank and not even rinse them under tap water?

    Blue Crayfish Parasite?

Thank you for the response! I normally fed him the instructed amount of crayfish tablets (1-4 twice a day and I'll give him two twice a day) or a bottom feeder tablet which he eats and he normally gets some of the brine shrimp/bloodworms the Cichlids don't eat. He also has a moss ball in the...

    Blue Crayfish Parasite?

Hello, I have a 20 gallon tank with 4 smaller sized cichlids and my blue crayfish. I know your not supposed to keep fish with crayfish but I didn't know until after I got the Cichlids and I think it's okay while both are this size. The worst interaction I've had is a cichlid spooking the...

Is my Gourami sick or is this normal?

I would raise the temperature in the tank but the heater I have in this tank isn't adjustable. In my other 20 gallon there is a adjustable heater but I don't want to swap heaters because I don't know if the one in the tank with Ich has parasite eggs on it. What should I do?

Is my Gourami sick or is this normal?

Update, I changed 50% of the water and the Blue Gourami seems to be doing better, he now only goes to the bottom for a minute (to do what looks like rest) and than swims like normal. Also when he goes to the bottom the Pearl Gourami pushes up next to him (not aggressively almost like a...

Is my Gourami sick or is this normal?

I will do a water change when I am home later today, the Pearl Gourami (who is smaller) isn't the issue though, the larger Blue Gourami is the one who is acting strange. The Pearl Gourami has shown 0 aggression at all. I also bought cichlids for the time being that are too large for the Crayfish...
