Yup, 30 yrs together this year for me and OH, and the, age wise, 40s, were the tricky years, after that you settle as life settles. the 40’s are where stuff gets real and you have a lot of responsibility imho which is what makes things tough.

Don’t know where in Scotland you are but Riverside Aquatics in Uphall have very good stock and will order in for you. Not had any issues with any fish from them. Plants are another story though

It’s the only thing that seems to settle the issue. I monitor the pH whilst doing it and it stays at 6 which is the usual here. I’m therefore not entirely sure what it is doing, but it does help.

Shock collars can cause severe behavioural issues in dogs. For a dog that’s already experiencing anxiety I would not go down that route. Colin raised some very valid training points, go down that route.

What Seangee and Uberhost say. Little dogs can be much harder to house train than larger dogs. I know of one very experienced person that took 1yr to fully house train their daxies. Crate training is a great help. I would do, out immediately upon waking, 20mins after food, any time excitement...

WOW, that’s good to know Colin, will test the water and see what comes back. I generally only drink tap water or boiled water so might have to invest in a filter for it (as well as get in touch with the local water company)
