I got some 1 inch ramshorn snails. how can I be certain if they arent giant ramshorn snails and just normal ramshorn snails that wont eat healthy, living plants?

so, I like snails in my aqyatium and I jave now counted 4 different species. pons snails, bladder snails, ramshorn snails and malaysian trumpets. I am happy with the ramshorns and the mts snails, but what are the differences in pond snails and bladder snails' diets and adult sizes?

I just noticed this red spot on my neon tetra. sorry for the bad angle, but its the best I could do as i had to move the fish to a small tank to get the picture. what is that spot? and how do I treat it? I do not know my water paramaters and I am not willing to pay 500 dollars for a test kit...

Here is my tank. Its a bit dirty, I just did a sand vac and changed some of the decor around. the plants are java ferns, hornworts and 2 amazon swords. Also, the camera is a bit... screwy, but there really is almost no tannins in my tank despite it looking like there is O_O
