Can String Be Used In Aquariums?

If you use gel supper glue you can drop it back in the tank after you put it on, people glue coral frags like this all the time and it cures under water fast.

Looks 100% female to me, nice fish. You can tell cause she has blue spangles on her spot males wont have this, better way to tell if they don't have a pink belly.

    New Fish

Yea they were something I couldn't pass on, these cichlid that need cool down periods are fun to keep. I have Gymnogeophagus gymnogenys and cichlasoma la palma with these guys. seems like a fun group once they get bigger and start spawning.

    Asian Sun Catfish Help

Seems like normal behavior for these guys, they will dart about till they find a good spot to hid. When they don't have a good spot to hide the will hide under other fish and when you have more than one they will take turns laying on top of each other. These guys are like most catfish where you...

    Ghost Catfish Missing Fin

Well for starts you should be doing water changes weekly, other things build up in the water column than just nitrates that are harmful in high concentrations. Fresh clean water is key as its brings minerals into the aquarium that get depleted, also might want to add a little salt to what ever...

    Anybody Want To Rant? 2

The advice given at big chain stores (you know the ones they pet in the name lol) I was there getting prime and I over hear the lady talking to a customer giving her "advice" on how to keep her tank running smooth, "yea you want to add this and add this and add this 3 times a week and do a water...

    My Uruguayan Cichlids

Well with me being in California its almost the same climate as it is down there, so I just leave the tank unheated and let them ride the weather. But if it gets too cold where you live just set the heater real low, theses guys get in the mid 50s in winter and around 74-77 in summer.

Last Second Fish For 125 Gallon Setup?

Only thing I would worry about is once those discus are adults they will snack on those cardinals, everything else looks good!

    Breeding Electric Yellows?

Like the others said you need a group to breed mbuna, they are herm spawners and don't pair off breeding with different males and females each time. I would shoot for a group of 8-10, these guys are easier on the females than most so male to female numbers arnt that big of a deal.
