The 0.25 ammonia is the problem. Aquariums should have no ammonia or nitrite. How old is this tank? Was it cycled? Have you recently changes the sandbed, filter media or anything that could have caused a mini cycle ?

It is possible that it could be eating them. Mine never attacked my tetras or rasboras but it dead eat any fish that were sick and dying. Maybe your neons have a disease and he is eating them when they starting getting sick? What are you feeding him and what size is tha aquarium?

It really depends on each individual tank because each on has a different bio load. So it is best to best the one that works for you and your tank :)

I once had a problem with a large worm too. But i had a medusa worm which doesn't have poisonous spines but has large teeth that killed my snails and hermits, attacked my mandarin dragonet and bit my finger. >:(

I would try and find a new home for the mollies- on many sites it is recommended that they should be kept in at least 80 litres and please don't buy balloon mollies because they are deformed and have a very short lifespan
