Ok, im not going to buy any angels...i dont want the poor neons being lunch for anyone!can any of u think of a pair of slighlty larger fish that would suit my tank mates? It doesnt have to be cichlids...but seeing as this thread is already here il ask you guys for ideas :)

If i do decide to add angels, i will buy a very young pair in the hope that they wont go after the neons. But i am told there is also the chance that the green tiger barbs might nip their fins :(

I havent seen the neons anywhere near him and there is some slight discolouration around the edges of his fins,like a white colour.its really noticable as he is blue/green and red. he has been acting differently,hiding in the leaves of a plant close to the bottom of the tank.

ok,thanks everyone for the suggestions :) iv actually been trying to get hold of a bristlenose plec fow a while, but my lfs doesnt sell them (only sell common plecos-way too big for me!) and wont order one for me. im not keen on ordering one off the internet,as i dont know how they are shipped...

My aquarium has a wooden lid and all of a sudden loads of condensation has appeared and started to make the wood expand.is there anything i can do to stop this because if it carries on the lid isnt goin to fit and it looks awful.please help.the temperature of the water is 25c.

got myself two german blue rams today, they were a little shy at first but seem happy now. no problems so far :)

yeh, he seems like he can balance ok. ive seen him swim a little and he looks ok then. Nothing unususal with his scales or anything, just he keeps resting on the filter, in a dark-ish corner.
