Kribensis are fine. And not only do they breed easily, they take care of their young, which is interesting to watch.

I'd suggest keeping them at 23-25. Try a good brand aquarium thermometer.

If your tank is cycled, then you can plan on mollies or some tetras. But only after some fish die/ are given away. Your tank is over stocked. It's 1 inch of a FULLY GROWN fish per gallon.

The betta might have eaten the tetras. Not sure about the other ones. But it's clear there's been a fight.

They might not be getting good oxygen. 

If you have a big tank and some caves, then keep a pair. They get aggressive trying to protect their babies.

Any more ideas? They seem to be living okay, but some have died.

But i'm kinda worried. They might not be getting all the nutrients required just from the algae. But thanks for the info, though.

I just got 17 guppy fry, and i have a 10 gallon with 2 male guppies and 7 females. I decided to leave the fry in the same tank and i wont be putting them in a separate tank or in a fry cage. I want them to survive on their own. But the problem is, they don't get any food. I sprinkle powdered...
