hey.. i'm getting a school of panda cories soon and was wondering if they mind normal sized gravel... i heard they enjoy sand or much finer gravel.. but if the gravel is any larger will this stress the panda?

boiling the driftwood gets out the tannings alot quicker.. if your boil it for about 3hrs it should take alot out.. but not completly.. they say it makes the wood break down faster but the driftwood i have done it to seem to be fine and i have had them for 3 months!! give it a try if you want a...

well the red tail black shark is a Omnivorous.. so it eats vegetable foods.. it would be eating your flakes.. try feeding it some zuccini, broccoli or lettace?? see if it is tempted.. just way it down with some rocks at the bottom of the tank.. i noe my bn's love there lettace and zuccini...

the light should be on for around 8 to 10 hours if you have live plants.. make sure its no longer then 10 hrs or you could get algae.. how many watts is your tube? r0b3y

a nice community tank would be very nice.. such as a couple of angels, school of tiger barbs(make sure its more then 6), school of corys, couple of rams.. many other fish u can put with this.. i'm not big on Cichlids.. hth r0b3y

ammonia can be found at a supermarket.. just look in the cleaning aisle.. if you find it.. make sure its clear, give it a shake and see if it foams up.. if it does foam up its no good :)

plants unlike the fish like the ammonia.. i suggest u put in the plants before you start the cycle

what kind of plants are they?? and remove your carbon.. it takes out some sort of minerals that the plants need, this could be a reason.. r0b3y

i work at an lfs.. i hope im not full of #### :unsure: .. but from my expirience u can mix clown loachs with tetras.. they dont seem to be a problem together

i would have to disagree with zebra danios as the will nip at the fins of your angels.. maybe you could ad 1 or 2pearl gouramis?? or some corys r0b3y

Harlequin Rasboras, Cardinal Tetra, tiger barbs?? all great schooling fish.. tiger barbs are the best to watch!! r0b3y :flex:

this should help.. i have a ac 200 and this is my routine.. it sure works for me.. Use two foam inserts. Rince one clean, that is until it runs clear, in a 5 gallon bucket with waste water from your aquarium. The dirty sponge (old sponge) goes to the bottom of the filter. The clean one goes on...
