    My goldfish has passed.

My goldfish Kai, died 2 days ago. I was out dogsitting for 2 days and came back and he was a bit floaty. I assumed it was a swim bladder issue and fasted him then fed him peas. It seemed to get better for a day, then came back. The next day his scaled pineconed. I tried to treat him with...

    Betta face discolouration

The ich probably caused the striking against the wood. If he's eating and acting normal, then he's probably fine. Betta fish's colors change over time, especially within the first year or so.

    You keep Danios?

Depends on what danio you get. Cherry shrimp and Amano shrimp will be fine, but shrimplets will die. If you get any bigger kind of danio, amano shrimp are really your only option.

is this fish food good (for betta)?

I feed mine betta pellets and blood worms. Whenever I feed bloodworms they are frozen so anything that may be living with the live bloodworms doesn't get to my betta :)

    You keep Danios?

The brine shrimp or shrimp in general? With the brine shrimp they eat it like its candy.

    You keep Danios?

I have 2 zebra danios and 2 leopard danios. My friend gave them to me 2 years ago when they were moving across state. The fish are nearly 3 now, still thriving. They eat bloodworms, brine shrimp, and tropical flakes. They chase each other around the tank time to time, which is how I know which...

    What to do with plants

It depends on what kind of plant. I'm not sure with this one, I've never kept it. But here's some examples on how plants reproduce/ or how to propagate: For Stem plants, you trim them, then replant the cuttings. For anubias and such you cut the rhizome in 2 or more parts. Amazon Sword will shoot...

    What to do with plants

It's algae. Harmless, but not good looking.

That brown looks like Diatoms. Rub the leaves and see if it comes off.

    What to do with plants

If your not talking about your fertilizer, then yes. Co2 can come in a bottle which is usually called "bio available carbon" or in a gas form.

    What to do with plants

Do you know what kind of plants they are? Usually browning plants are a sign of poor water quality. What's the Nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and PH? Do you use Co2 for the plants?

    Guppy cross?

I don't know what they want, once I get a couple more strains and get a good fry I wanted to sell them. In your opinion, would it be worth it to keep this line going?

    Guppy cross?

Wow, do you think if I were to buy some new females (to help the inbreeding situation, which I'm pretty sure that's why they are stunted) of HB Moscow I could sell them? Would people want them?

    My planted 7 gallon.

I have Co2, but its not injected. It's in a bottle. And ferts.

    My planted 7 gallon.

I'm going to be buying carpet plants soon, I was thinking crypts as well. I'm very excited to see what it looks when it's all grown in.

    Guppy cross?

Oh okay, that makes sense. I knew about HB, but honestly never thought of them being a mix. Now that I think about it that's probably what happened. And I don't know about the inbreeding problem, because I didn't selective breed these fish myself.

Stocking suggestion for 10 Gallon Tank

I agree with UknwonFishies. You may be able to add some shrimp. If you do add shrimp, make sure there's plenty of hiding spots so your betta don't make a meal out of them.. I wouldn't add anymore fish though.

    Guppy cross?

There were only blue Moscow guppies in there, I think they were mixed before they were put into the sell tank. I'm not upset about it or anything, I could just buy more. But I do find it interesting.. I put them in my 7 gallon because the were so small. Probably 2-3 centimeters.

    My planted 7 gallon.

I thought I’d share, it’s a work in progress. I set up this tank with a elbow cast on, so I’m decently proud of how it turned out, besides the fact I need my carpeting plants. On the top of the Ohko stone I plan to add the same carpet plant I’ll be putting on the main substrate. I really hope it...

Dwarf Gourami Having both Fin Rot and White Fuzz. What to do???

It should be fine, if its the anti-fungal one it should help, either way, if your fish are suffering from other problems hopefully it could help. Just if you buy new medication you should probably stop the Waterlife medication.

Dwarf Gourami Having both Fin Rot and White Fuzz. What to do???

The white fuzz looks like fungus. Get a fungal medication, or antibiotics.

    Guppy cross?

Ok so, I bought a pair of blue Moscow guppies a while ago, the female was already pregnant. Since DECEMBER i’ve been raising the babies, done everything the same as the other batches of fry i had, and this is the slowest growing batch I’ve had. They turned out tiny. They are fully mature, but...
