I normally cook sliced baby marrows for my BN's. At the weekend, I decided to chuck some of it in my Apple snail tank and they loved it..... skin and all.... about six large pieces was put in the tank and the next morning, there was not even a trace of it left..... I'll feed it on a regular...

It seems like they are extremely slow growers or am I doing it wrong?.... I have them in a 4ft x 3ft x3ft outside pond and do regular (70%) water changes with cycled water from an adjacent empty pond..... Water temperatures is on average around 24/6 and I feed flakes and a variety of vegeties...
