Only now that you mention it.... I notice the poop as well... above that poopstring... I see a gonopodium... It is not the rounded anal fin of a female Platy/livebearer.... I maintain that this fish is a male unless I can get a better photo of the anal fin.... But!... gravid spot??... I do not...

I see no gravid spot.... and I may be mistaken, but I see a gonopodium which will make this a male platy..... nope!! ... Personally.... I do not think he is pregnant...

I have this 3ft tank with canopy standing outside, so I chucked a couple of Apple snails in there and (ocassionally)feed cooked baby marrow..... and mostly crushed flakes.... The water is green, so I decided to do a water change today.... when I lifted the canopy.... this is what I saw.....

I am retiring in October and moving to a city where I'll have a better market for the fish I breed..... problem is just.... What fish is not too difficult to breed, but will be profitable enough to at least pay for itself and provide a little income as well??.... I remember that I was once...

I used to collect logo'd ashtrays from all hotels I stayed at (legitimate and declared at checking out - some hotels gave them to me.... others made me pay for them)..... My wife collects teaspoons from all over the world... she has around 2,000 of them and some dating back to the 1920's...

Yes NY..... My tanks in the fishroom have no lids on..... whenever I fill up.... I fill to at least 1.5" from the brim.....(and even so), I have found the floor strewn with Guppies when I fill a little too much....

This is my 12yr old Meghan and she's been an invalid for more than 3 years..... (Arthritus in all 4 legs)..... she has to be carried everywhere, but her communication is fantastic.... we know exactly when she wants to go out.... when she wants water..... when she wants food.....when she wants...
