Your gunna need a bigger tank for your gouramis and shark as a head up. Sharks are 10cm to 12cm and gouramis get larger

If it wasn't your water parameters them most likely an acclamation issue or just sick fish but I'd cycle your tank a little longer just to be safe

You need more cover and things to break lines on sights if you want to mix different species I'd add lots of plants and maybe more wood/rocks for you loaches to hid. More territory to be claimed less fighting in your tanks. This is my puffer tank and I've never had a fight with different species...

Feeding snails the proper amount can keep the population under control I'd just stick to that. I've kept 11 different puffer species and you can't forget about them and if left alone with all those snails they would over eat and die

If you want algae get a clear plastic bottle with fish water in it and leave it at a window for a week. After that put the bottle with algae in the tank and watch it spread

That's a pea puffer yeah. I've never heard them called green and yellow before. That's usually the names for the brackish puffers when shops are trying to get rid of them huh.

You'll need a 55 gallon, heater, marine salt, and a sponge filter to properly take care of it along with feeding it snails to keep its beak short

That is a greepspotted puffer and is a high end brackish to low end marine salt water wish and get to around 5 inches. Or a figure 8 puffer which is a low end brackish fish as well
