Welcome to the forum! ^_^ To me, what your Cory there has sounds like ammonia poisoning to me. Try to do daily water changes, and make sure to remove any uneaten food after meals. Also, aeration can help. :nod: I'm not a COMPLETE expert, but I think this should help a lot! Hope he gets better!

Well, every Kuhli enjoyed the bloodworms, except her. :( I unfortunately had to euthanize her, due to the fact that since she wouldn't eat, therefore she had little to no strength to keep herself up. :sad: I still feel horrible, but it was better than letting her suffer..... :-(

How big is the tank? There are many different options when there are many different sizes of tanks. :nod:

Thanks for the suggestions! I have picked up Hikari Betta Bio-Gold only because they seemed to be the "older" type (no wheat flour, MSG, or any of that other nasty stuff they put in for flavoring). They are about 10 times smaller than the previous pellet! He likes them too! :D

I've been recently feeding my Betta a variety of live (but safe) foods that I have found. Trying not to be a noob here, but here's my first Betta, Prism! I managed to find him at the back of the store, still getting used to the new water, sitting in that blue stuff (I don't know what it's called...). He was the only one who even looked at me! He's much happier now though.

It does look like it's part of the markings, not like fungus or anything. I do keep on telling them to stay off of the heater! :rolleyes: But I've never seen them there long enough for the heater to turn on. I do have a pretty rough fake log in there for my Kuhlis...... I guess it's a scratch or...

I think I can get another picture. An iPhone can probably take a picture 10x better than my current camera! :lol: But just to clear things up: the brownish, pixely, fuzzy thing is the otto, the equally fuzzy and pixely white things are the splotches, and that green thing is the leaf of a plant...

I noticed one weird, white, splotchy thing on my oto, and I was confused as to what it was. The next day, I saw another one. Does anyone know what this is? And is it dangerous, or just markings? (Sorry for the size and poor quality of the pic :()

I was thinking of doing a full clean of my 10gal tank, temporarily moving my fish. I was going to use a bleach solution (9cups water 1 cup bleach) that I read was safe for fish ornaments and tanks, as long as they weren't porous (wood, etc), and that you soaked everything afterwards. :nod...
