All I want to know is should I vac the soil/ gravel substrate or is it ok to leave it, is it beneficial for the plants thanks

I like your tank it’s cool I’m wanting to do something like that at the moment I’m getting high readings of ammonia I’m doing big water changes every day I didn’t feed them for 2 days and it went down but it’s bk up again I don’t know what I’m doing wrong can u give me any advice pls
