How big is your pictus cat? One thing that some people forget about when keeping fish, is the the "Eat or be Eaten" fact of nature. Yes one can mitigate eat or be eaten, if one has plenty of hiding places, etc....but still....I hope you have plenty of places for your shrimp to hide. and good...

Congratulations on your 450 gal tank.... I guess the better questions might be what can't you keep in a tank that large. If all the fish were roughly the same size at the start and there were PLENTY of hiding places you would see them at the start but as the fish age and grow in size few may go...

So what's the issue? Seems to me you got a big tank with lots of small fish, From the pic it seems the tank is taken care...if the water parameters are good what the big deal all looks fine. Are you looking for stocking ideas?

I guess I would say what's the issue? from your pics the tank looks fine, are your fish and plants dying left and right? If not it's probably just needing some little adjustments here and there, much as recommended by BlueJungle.

Seems like you got a good tank as is, the corys should be fine since they are a bottom fish, Guppies couldn't hurt and besides if you have more females than males the females will eventually provide plenty of food for the Angles.

Well the answer is pick a new hobby...LOL like many people I started with just 1 now I have 6 and thinking about a 40 gal breeder....but hey sometimes you just have to scratch that itch.

I probably spent more than I care to find out about. But then again after the initial cost of tank's, filters etc...the rest was just food...seems to me cost go down as the tanks are established and thriving.

wow that's an odd looking thing, my guess is a white fungus or algae, try googling white algae and see what google come up with. It reminds of some saltwater marine corals. Im sure others on the forum will come up with an answer. Good luck.

That's probably fine you can google tank stocking guides to help determine how many fish per gallon of water. But remember those are just guides, actual stocking is also effected by the species of fish. Some species are poop machines, plue there's the filtration factors too.....quite...
