You could also try giving it a salt bath! It is not for euthinisation, but it might help to make the fish better

If you have  clove oil, then put 10 drops in one litre of fish water. Then catch the fish on a net and put it in the clove oil water. This will put the fish to sleep. At least that is the best way, otherwise you have to do more horrible things.

Yeah, that's to small for many things. Definititely not them. They need around a 80l tank I think. As Wills said you could also keep some small fish in there, or also some shrimp.

If you have a quarantine tank, put it in there as well as it can probably spread quickly. Also, how often do you do water changes? And what other fish are in the tank? It might have been bullied and then the fungus attacked the wound.
