I would say it is to late to cycle the tank. If you want guppies you need a bigger tank. A thought I had was you could cycle that tank and use it to hold fry if you plan to still go with guppies.

Have you talked to petco about taking them? Chain fish stores usually don't take fish from local breeders, also it will take 3-5 months for the fry to be full grown. and like I said earlier you will not be able to have the tank cycled in time.

With guppies you have to always assume they are pregnant. From the pictures I would say she is but they aren't very clear. Could you try taking a better one?       P.S. Also if we have a better one when can give you a rough estimate of when she will give birth:)

Thanks for trying to help! idk if you noticed but this post is almost a year old. so I don't need help any more. All the fry are adults now and have been sold/given away. They turned out to look the same as the mother except one that was red. idk where that came from???  

Could you post a pic? that would be most helpful :) Also do you know how to tell males from females or are you going by what the employe at the fish store told you?

it was hard to tell most of them were still born:( I think about 20 are alive and in my grow out tank with my molly fry.
