Gorgeous as ever. #4 is my favourite tank, the shape of the tank is great & it's looking amazing.

I don't do much at all. Seachem Flourish Comprehensive half dose twice a week. TNC root tabs. That's it. My water is pretty hard and ph about 8.

I really don't think you've a rogue tetra killing so many others. What are your water parameters? Can you give more information about the tank in which fish are dying?

Would treatment be affected by the need to do big regular water changes? This tank isn't cycled.

For now I'll leave it - toddler is keeping me very busy so big tank jobs are limited.

Provide hiding places with plants & keep an eye out for a square tummy & hiding. Then if you want you could scoop the fry up and but them in an incubation box so you can more easily feed them 3 times a day.

I would get the cycle under control doing 75% daily water changes until you stop seeing ammonia and/or nitrite. Then if you're worried about works I'd use a deworming medicine as directed.

Is her poop white?

The fish nipple at it & sure it's part of their eci system :)

Fascinating set up. I don't know how you get your substrates not to much mix. I'd love a gravel pathway in one of my tanks but hard to maintain with sand.

Don't know what's up with her gills but her tummy isn't squared off as you'd expect before the have fry. How long has she been pregnant roughly? It's usually 28 days +. My own fish didn't get aggressive but did find hiding spots and other fish followed them about lots hoping to eat fry.

No apology necessary. It's interesting to see how the tank has developed and your own feelings about it. I've just given up on algae and decided to live with it. I've a touch BBE and i don't know what else but plants are all doing well & fish are thriving. So i give up :rofl:

Very overgrown Limnophila sessiliflora

Who doesn't love a good before (the help of this forum) v after. I've s fast enough flow that creates good surface disturbance so ally floating hats disappeared, the overgrown Limnophila does a good job though. I've BBA in the tank but decided to live with it after failed attempts to control.

The tank is quite packed with plants so I'm hoping they will take as they don't take up as much width space. Part of me wants to pull the tank apart and start again :rofl: I think I prefer the more chaotic and less planned out smaller tank

I tried Vallis before and it melted. The root is there with tiny growth so added fresh TNC plugs. It's just looking bare because not much grows above the height of tree. I had some fry hatch but my set up sucked & then got in to the tank & disappeared. I get lots of eggs every week but hadn't...

And my blue eyed forktail rainbow fish finally arrived! I search for months, finally found some in stock, covid and snow delayed any chance of delivery. 2.5 months after ordering it was safe to send them to me hahah It was a lot of choas! But easy living now
