I would keep 2 clowns as they can be quite feisty I only say that as I had three and the air picked on one Blennies are just ace they are so funny to watch consider bangaiis they are ace and firefish are nice  if you get bubble nem get a flame one they are stunning

yes and carpets are especially predatory they are sticky as hell and move very quickly when a fish is in their grasp.   Bubble tips are perfect and split off to form baby anemones which you can sell

you can and people will but having had lots of exerience with marine I wouldnt now.   I set up a 65 litre tank 6 years ago and within weeks bought a bigger one. If you are doing salty just get the biggest tank you can fit/afford and it makes life so much easier and  enables you to keep better...

I'm having the same issue and have LED's .i suspect light is not an issue other than it is too intense for the plant and there is not enough nutrients for it to feed on due to the intensity of the light

I've had a couple of larger fire eels in my life and they all took frozen prawns, mussels and silversides along with earthworms. From memory got them feeding initially on earthworms

  What data regarding the lights do you need?

I recall them being really peaceful fish and only did the usual defending of their young. Food wise they ate pellets as all my fish did and all my plants :)

 so dim the lights more reducing the plants need for nutrients and add niutrients?

hi mate Its an old tank that I gave to a member on here Kneish when I moved in with my wife. It is 60x30x24 and was pretty decent. No permit required for rays. I struggled with that one in getting it to feed   wish i still have the tank or something similar in size :(

I'm back with freshwater again,never had a problem with vallis and swords before but in this set up the giant vallis and swords have just disapeared. The vallis just ends up as strands in the surface and the swords become see through.   Coyuld I be over lighting as I am using my old marine LEDs
