I might have some pinks off you, just need to sort this tank out. what temperature range do these guys live in? 15C to at least 34C. in effect all temperatures are fine. they are very hardy and can withstand all community tank parameters. hope that helps.

I personally find coral pellia easy to grow. It definitely likes bright light, and it is growing in Ph6.5, Kh6, 24C in my tank. It is a slow grower though. The most difficult part is attaching it to hardscape in the beginning because coral pellia is brittle, and difficult to manipulate. One...

They're giant ramshorns though, not apple snails... ;) Incorrect. My ramshorns are regular ramshorn snails, growing to max 2cm diameter. Not the "giant" variety, whatever that refers to. Moreover, no one said anything about apple snails. So your statement is both misleading and irrelevant. Cheers.

substrate is immaterial, except for MTS and assassin snails, which do prefer sand, but will be fine in anything. so in sum, you cant go wrong with sand.

Ramshorns breed more slowly than pest pond snails. Population density seems to max out at a lower level than pond snails because ramshorns grow considerably larger. The good thing too is that everytime you see them you like seeing them because they are so decorative. At least that is the way I...

Ramshorns do not add significantly to bioload. In my opinion they help to balance the tank by eating dead plants leaves and leftover food before they can rot. These ramshorns grow to the same size as other decorative ramshorns, I'd say about 3/4in in diameter. They wont grow this big though...
