Using mature media I created a small 4 gallon tank with a sponge filter/heater and shed loads of plastic plants, sat it for a week testing it and its all good, so i bought 3 neon tetra and 3 lemon tetras, its been 3 days and they look fine, how long should I wait to put them into my main tanks...

Well ive got a large filter in the 25ltr tank, so they will have to stay in there for now, theyve been in there for a year and never had a problem yet, so ill have to find a new home for them.

I understand fully that the tank is too small, but it will be my quarantine tank once the fish are relocated. But the question stands at will they be terrertorial towards my Guppies/Platies

I forgot to say, I also seeded the tank a little today by putting a small sponge from a Washing up sponge from our Fish Pond into the tank today :D Cheers for the advice ppl!

Bit of an update, and thanks for the link Gvilleguy. 60l with all the Fish in nitrate 5 nitrite 0.2 Ammonia 0 PH 7 70l with now 2 Danio's in nitrate 5 nitrite 0.3 Ammonia 0 PH 7.5 Does this sound about right guys?
