We're Can I Buy Spray Bars From Online?

You can buy clear spray bars from Ebay, they come from China so the shipping costs may put you off but they look to be good quality believe it or not.

    330L Tank Journal

What I ment is cover the pipe upwards from the sponge/net that you have over the actual intake    Just to hide the white pipe, my eyes get drawn to it when I look at the tank.

    330L Tank Journal

Lovely tank,    You could cover the inflow pipe with some more moss, and are you able to bury the end of the piece of wood at the front middle into the sand?

Hard to tell what type of snail that is from the photo.   Just pick him out of the tank and keep you eye out for any more.

Juwel Rio 180 Blown Lighting Unit - Led Replacement?

I have not got any experience with these type of tubes, but can see that the LED's are not high powered so they would be good for viewing purposes but may not be much good for plant growth.   Hopefully someone who has used these before can offer some advice.

    All Pond Solutions Reviews?

For what they cost I would say APS filters are good value, yes they dont produce very close to what they claim LPH wise but as long as you take this into account when matching to your tank you will be fine.   I have been running my APS1000 for almost 2 years, in that time I have had a leak from...

It did used to show what your average posts were per day on your user profiles but does not any longer.   I dont know why it is not there any more but Tcamos will confirm why no doubt.

Juwel Rio 180 Blown Lighting Unit - Led Replacement?

You could make this work, but depending on the distance between the shelf and top of tank you may find maintenence difficult as the shelf may get in the way.   A shelf that is easily removable would solve this problem.

    Biorb Airpump

Any stanfard aquarium air pump can be used with the bio orb and it is a good ideal to do so because the stronger the air pump the better the filter will work. The pump that comes with the bio orb becomes tired within 6 months.   Tetra Tech air pumps are good value for money, or you could get a...

Juwel Rio 180 Blown Lighting Unit - Led Replacement?

T5's produce more lumens per watt than T8's (ie more light for the same electrical power)   Taking into account the info you have provided I would recommend going down the T5 route.

Juwel Rio 180 Blown Lighting Unit - Led Replacement?

The thing you have to remember is that you cant just chuck a lot of light above the tank without changing other things like ferts and Co2 because you could run into issues.    If you want to keep the tank low ish maintenance and you are not wanting to dose liquid Co2 or pressurized Co2 you would...

    Another Java Moss Help Thread

Hello and welcome to TFF   I guess that the white you are seeing is the glue covering the moss, give it time it should either be covered by new growth or die and fall off.    To store your moss that is not being used just put it in a container full of water (tap or used tank water) and leave it...

    Cucumber

I put a piece of Cucumber in my tank once a week, to prepare I cut a thick slice and then cut the middle part away with the pips, then cut round the edges to remove the skin.    Mainly put it in the tank for my Ottos to feed on snack on but it is mainly water anyway so not much use to fish but...

    Cautious About Donated Plants

The only time I use the bucket and change the water a few times method is when buying plants from Ebay, any others just get swilled and checked for snails.   Reason being is most of the plants from Ebay come from the Far East and will have been treated with cooper to kill off any snails or other...

Filter Venturi Saturating Water With Micro Bubbles - Harmful To Fish?

The bubbles are not in any way harmful to your fish so don't worry.    You could lower the venturi so that it is just making a gentle ripple at the waters surface, this will be more than adequate for your fishes needs. Also there is no need to boost aeration during your water changes, if you...

    T5 For A Tank 40Cm X 40Cm X 40Cm

That is a nice light but is very expensive, ps3steveo could build a unit which will give the same amount of light for a fraction of the cost for a tank your size, check this thread for an ideal of what is on offer.    http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/398884-custom-led-lighting-units/...

How To Remove Paint From My Back Glass

You could use paint stripper, just be very careful that it does not get into the tank, then clean the area thoroughly with water and tissue paper.    Alternately you could scrape it off with a Stanley blade or similar, but this way would take longer and create more mess than the paint stripper.

Unipac Gravel And Sand, Which Do You Own?

I have only used Limpopo Black out of what you have listed, It is inert so wont hold any benefits for plants.    If you are hoping to keep a planted tank you can still use this but would need to dose ferts, and I would suggest using root tabs if you want any plants that are heavily root feeders...

    Cautious About Donated Plants

If you are sure that the tank they came from was healthy I wouldn't worry to much, just give them a good swill under the tap.    When ever I purchase plants from unknown sellers I tend to soak them in plain tap water for a couple of hours (no need to dechlor the water IMO) then put them in a...

Led Lighting - Peoples Experience Please?

Led lighting is the way forward for planted tanks IMO, amongst other benifits they last a lot longer than tubes, use less energy and do not contain mercury like tubes.   I am using a TMC 1500 Ultima on my 60liter at the moment running the tile at 60% (using a TMC controller). I love the tile so...
