    90L Convict Cichlid Pair?

Thanks for all the replies! I'll answer all this in steps I think haha.    1. The 90L is fully cycled, has been for a couple of years.   2. I was just going to keep the convicts in there, so I wasn't worried about them attacking other fish.    3. Not sure if any of you are from Aus? But I didn't...

    90L Convict Cichlid Pair?

Hey all,    I currently have a convict pair in my 110G who are trying to breed. They keep getting disturbed by everyone else, so was thinking of putting them in this 90L I have.    Just wondering if this will work, and whether I should keep them in there by themselves or add tank mates? If so...

    Planted 20Gallon Tank

Great start.    Have you thought about changing the gravel for sand? The cories will thank you greatly for it, it is much softer on their barbels and they love snuffling around in it.    The only thing I would strongly recommend is to leave out the rainbow shark, they are very very aggressive...

    160Gal W/100Gal Sump Lake Malawi

Can't wait to see this finished!    Nice choice of fish too. I think any combination of those fish would look great, with the Yellow Labs being a must. You just can't beat their colour. I personally am a big fan of the Jalo Reefs (which I noticed wasn't on the second list :() and the Cobalt...

    What Are These?

From my experience the Auratus are nasty little things, I've got them in a 110G! Just something to keep an eye out for

Thank you for all your speedy replies! I'll leave it for a little bit longer and see what happens. In the meantime I will try and get a picture of him/her next to the others for size comparison.

Not meaning to start an argument, but by the time the voting was to be closed, I was one vote ahead. Just saying.  Doesn't matter anyway! Time to vote again :)

    Obese/sick Black Neon Tetra?

That would be interesting! Wonder if anyone can confirm this?          Sorry I should have mentioned that I did fast them for 2 days. He/she has stayed the same.

    Obese/sick Black Neon Tetra?

Hi all.    I have a 165L/44G tropical tank. Heavily planted with drift wood. I appear to have a very over weight, or, sick Black Neon Tetra.      STOCKING: 8x Hengle Rasbora 9x Black Neon Tetra 7x Tiger Barbs 5x Sterbai Corydora (Waiting for LFS stock)   TANK: Cycled - has been running for...

This is silly, if it ended when it was supposed to, we would have had the winner, not a tie.

Aquascape Ideas For My Tank Please!

That looks super! I'm sure the Cabomba will grow to the top, mine went huge!  I agree with Shelster's suggestion of the Anubias and crypts. Or even just the Anubias at this stage. Would like nice with a little open area at the front. Great job!

    My 420L/110G

Well that's a very big complement thank you! I tried to darken up the tank a bit for my Frontosa, he's much happier and loves his new dark caves.         Thank you very much! It's nice to get some feedback. I had been dreaming of doing this tank for so long and hoping it would turn out exactly...

    Any 54 Litre Tank Pics?

Looking great! Big BIG fan of Anubias. Why don't you try spreading the plants along the back out? So it covers majority of the length of the tank. Just a suggestion :)

    My 420L/110G

I had a quick Google just a minute a go. It doesn't really look like him. His red extends to his fins, not just on his body. I personally thought he was a peacock of some variety.    I found a picture of him from some time ago. Before he got as beautiful as he is now

    My 420L/110G

I've been told it's a Kandango, but I'm not entirely sure. Would love someone to ID it for me. I rescued this guy from a terrible fish shop. Since being in my tank for the last 6 months he's showing some beautiful colours.    And yes, all Cichlids with Clown Loaches. I'm trying to increase my...

    My 420L/110G

Mixed Cichlid tank. Just recently rescaped.    I am not a purist, I do mix the lakes, I understand they prefer different water etc. All fish in Western Australia are bred here, in the same water, we do not get wilds. All my fish are more then happy, absolutely no aggression.    If you have any...

    Blue Rams

I fed mine Spirulina and the odd treat of brine shrimp.    I kept mine with cory's with no problems. But they are very territorial. Perhaps hold off on the Cory's for a little while until you figure out what sort of behavior your GBR's have.

    Blue Rams

They are usually low-mid. My previous pair mainly stayed on the floor.

    Cichlid Re-scape!

So today is the day! Super keen to get these rocks in. On with the pictures!   First of all, the before..       You can see I had some calcium build up on the back of my tank. It is extremely hard to get off, and even harder when I can't reach it properly.        But I did my best and started...
