You could always try a new hobby that's similar to fishkeeping - such as vivariums/terrariums. I'm restarting my posion dart frog vivarium. It's a lot of fun & has many similarities to fishkeeping.

I have a 40 gallon tank of scarlet badis & I once tried to add other fish - big mistake and I rehomed the new fish quickly. They are freaked out by larger fish or more active fish.

I totally agree with you! I've only had positive experiences with them.

They are super interesting. Males have territorial boundaries and drama. They also seem like cichlids in that they seem to think intelligently. They are a lot of fun to observe.
