4 sterbai cories 6 pygmy cories

My 4 Sterbai Cories are at the top of the tank most of the time........I think they got confused somehow........and they are hyper!!

Prime is probably the most economical for you, I believe its 1 capful 5ml per 200L!  basically 1 cap each time you change water (80%) works out to be roughly 20 pence per water change, if you double dose, 40 pence (10ml) per 200L water change.

I have the Rio 125 with Ecco 500 kit pump. It should fit snugly in, drop it in and just a light push. The nozzle should go in. Is there anything blocking the pump? 1/2 cm is a lot to be misaligned.

this is the filter I have.   I was thinking of making a DIY spray bar to attached to the black nozzle....    

Juwel RIO 125 tank with standard 500L/hr pump but the current is huge.....   I can see my tetra and Rasbora swimming or blown around by the current.   I put pellets in and within 5 secs the current has pushed them to the bottom.   Will a DIY spray bar attached to the pump produce 'calmer'...

tried to as best I could, left in bag, 15mins, add bit of tank water, 15mins, bit more water, 10mins, more water....10mins then moved them in......not keeping bag water.   another died, but the other 2 in QT is swimming around now and eating.   As Wilder says, maybe I should stay away from tetra...

  How many times do we mention differing advice in this forum?  There can be more than one way to do this or that, certainly, and sometimes it is best to do something the way that works best in that situation.  I'll explain why I have had success with my planted sand-substrate QT for new fish...

Never thought of it that way, guess when I think QT, I think....sick & diseased.   My intention was to use it as a check/temporary tank too since I can't get all my fish stock from the one LFS and I was advised not to stock the 125L fully right from the start.   Maybe I'll just remove the rocks...

  thanks. It sounds like I might have made a bad decision. Now I just need to wait for main tank to cycle and move everything over............hope I wont need to use the QT right after because I'm sure moving the substrate, plants and stones over will disrupt the QT's established cycle.
